The reflow soldering is more environmental friendly due to the soldering material not including lead. Additionally, it has more accurate control in the soldering process to increase the quality of trimpot.

Kingtronics---Global Semiconductor Market Declines in April

It was the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) that disclosed global semiconductor product sales in April. Their data showed that global semiconductor product sales in April were $34.4 billion.

According to the data disclosed by the SIA, global sales of semiconductor products in April increased by US$2 billion from US$32.4 billion in the same period last year, a year-on-year growth rate of 6.1%; compared with US$34.9 billion in March, it was a decrease of 500 million, fell 1.2% month-on-month.

In terms of countries and regions, sales of semiconductor products in China increased by 2.1% month-on-month in April, but Japan fell by 0.9%, the American market fell by 1.1%, the European market fell by 7.6%, and other markets in Asia Pacific fell by 3.1%.

In terms of year-on-year growth, the American market increased by 24.5%, the Chinese market increased by 4.4%, the other markets in the Asia-Pacific region increased by 3.3%, the Japanese market decreased by 0.1%, and the European market experienced the largest year-on-year decline of 7.1%.

The SIA believes that so far, the damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has not yet had a substantial impact on overall global sales.

The combination of proprietary cermet element technology, precious metal brush contacts and swaged pin element connections used in BI trimmers permits the manufacture of precision, high quality trimmers that span the resistance range from 10 ohms to over 5 megohms. The small size and planar construction of these trimmers minimize stray circuit reactances and permit the trimmers to perform well in many high frequency applications.

Leadscrew
Precision brass leadscrew cuts its own grooves in the teflon rotor so that the operation of the rotor is free of backlash. Setability is excellent.
